Tasmanian brass band brings together musicians young and old as it helps train the next generation

This northern Tasmanian band will celebrate its 146th birthday but with the average player aged in their 70s, the band is looking to secure its future. It's teamed up with a local primary school, offering free tuition in the hope some of the students will gain the skills to join in.
At 85 and 11 years old respectively, John Quinn and Oliver Buckland are breathing new life into the West Tamar Municipal Band.
